The Fin ‘N’ Feather Sportsman’s club is again having a rifle sight in to help prepare hunters for the gun deer season.
The dates for this year are October 29th & 30th, November 5th & 6th and November 12th & 13th. Times are from 9AM to 4 PM. Cost is $10 for the first gun and $5 for the second gun. Shooting at the running deer is $5.
You will have almost no waiting if you come the first two weekends. If your procrastination forces you to come on Sunday, November 13th, all is not lost. You may have to wait 15 minutes max to get a place on the firing line.
We have pop up targets at 100 and 50 yards. You will be shooting from a shooting bench equipped with sand bags to steady you rifle or shotgun. There is help on the line to assist with sight adjustments if you need it or to answer questions. Your shot will be marked immediately after you shoot. Forget the long lines or walking to mark your target! At Fin’N’Feather, you do not have to wait or walk to the target to look at it!
There are experienced workers on site who assist in mounting and bore sighting scopes.
After you sight-in, stop at the clubhouse for a sandwich or refreshment.
We are also having a gun raffle. Tickets are $1 ea or 6 for $5. Take a chance on a 30.06 or 12 Ga. shotgun.
